lemon's hotbuys

hot buys!! they dont make em any more but i miss them. when they started, they were just items from upcoming releases that were curated must haves, as well as teasers for the releases. they became in my opinion manufactured and matchy-matchy which again in my opinion was what killed them. i love the spirit of them, especially the original idea of them, of a handful of the cutest things from that month.

for this page, i will choose 10 of my own "hot buys" from the last month's releases. umm no promises on if i do it every month or not haha. i will try to include as many releases as possible but let's be real every release can't have a must have item and some will have more than one.

a hot buy item, to me, is one that is trendy, is special, stands out, and presents a sobering and refreshing awareness of the current fashion zeitgeist. these hot buys will be curated subjectively based on those requisites.
